Inquests have been opened into the death of two prisoners who were serving custodial sentences near Huntingdon.
The Ministry of Justice has confirmed both men were serving their prison sentences at HMP Littlehey when they died.
Frederick Stallwood, 89, died on December 10, 2023, in Huntingdon. His provisional cause of death was recorded as primarily prostate cancer.
Patrick Mugford, 69, died on December 17, 2023, at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, in Huntingdon. His provisional cause of death was recorded as primarily aspirational pneumonia.

Elizabeth Gray, an area coroner for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, opened both inquests on Tuesday (January 2) at Lawrence Court, Huntingdon.
HMP Littlehey is a prison for men convicted of sex offences.
According to the government website, it accommodates around 1,200 men. Some cells are shared.
