The cause of a car fire on Tuesday (January 2) has been confirmed.
Crews from Huntingdon and St Neots were called to a car fire on the A1 near Alconbury at 7:32pm.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters arrived to find a car well alight on the hard shoulder.
“Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 8.30pm.
“The cause of the fire was accidental.”
