A bomb disposal unit had to be called to a Huntingdonshire village yesterday to safely dispose of a live grenade.
A member of the public contacted police after suspecting he had an old World War One grenade that was still live at his home in Yaxley.
Cambridgeshire Constabulary contacted the Explosive Ordnance Disposal who carried out a controlled explosion in a nearby field.
Officers then shared a video of the explosion on social media.
