Black Cat Radio has won big at the Community Radio Awards 2023, picking up multiple nominations and awards, including winning the coveted 'Male Presenter of the Year'.
The Community Radio Awards celebrated recipients' hard work from up and down the country, from the Isle of Skye to the Isle of Sheppey and Glasgow to Glamorgan, at the awards ceremony in Newcastle-upon-Tyne on November 4.
Black Cat presenters Brian Dobson and Jenny Jefferies attended the ceremony and were on hand to collect the night's big win, with presenter Ste Greenall announced as the best male presenter of the year.
The judges said: "This devoted presenter clearly has a feel for radio and the community."
Ste will be now invited to co-host the awards ceremony next year with female presenter winner Priya Matharu from Switch Radio in north-east Birmingham

Although unable to attend the awards ceremony, Ste said: "I'm totally freaked out. What a night for the station."
Black Cat Radio prides itself on being the "voice of St Neots", and the hard work of its team was also recognised and honoured through several other awards.
Jenny won Silver in the category 'Newcomer of the Year', while Brian Dobson received Bronze for 'Volunteer of the Year', and Ernie Almond was recognised as a finalist in the 'Sage Person of the Year' category.

Ernie was the inspiration behind the format of the weekday show - 'Your Voice', which celebrated its first anniversary on Monday, November 6.
The programme picked up the Silver award in the 'Specialist Content Show of the Year' category, presented over the week by Brian, Jenny, Ste and Nigel Pauley.
Operation Director Brian Dobson said: "These awards reflect the hard work, dedication and level of professionalism within our team of volunteers, and we feel really honoured to have been chosen by the judges to receive them from amongst the best Community Radio Stations across the UK."
