A lorry driver had a lucky escape after their vehicle crashed into a ditch at Ramsey Mereside.
Cambridgeshire police were called at 12.19pm yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, November 7) with reports of a lorry in a ditch on Oilmills Road.
The road on Wells Bridge, near Bodsey Land Bungalow, was closed while recovery of the lorry took place and emergency repairs were made to the road.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: "The driver was assessed by paramedics at the scene and taken to Peterborough City Hospital as a precaution. No injuries have been reported."
The road has since been reopened.
