Two social events have been organised to raise funds for Eaton Socon Cricket Club.
They both take place in the clubhouse at the Terry Day Cricket Ground in Peppercorn Lane, Eaton Socon, and the first is Kev's Quiz Night on Saturday (October 28).
The cost is £1 per person, and teams of up to eight people are welcome. There will be lots of prizes on offer. Doors open at 7pm for an 8pm start.
There will also be a Christmas market at the club on December 3, from 10am till 3pm. This wonderful event includes a Snow Zone and will provide a lovely festive atmosphere for families.
There will be hot food and refreshments, face painting, a Santa's Grotto, raffle, and the bar will be open from 11am.
The grotto will cost £3 per child and needs to be booked in advance. Anyone wishing to book a market stall can do so for £10 per pitch, plus raffle prize, and this should also be booked in advance. Both bookings are at: eatonsoconccevents@gmail.com.
Visitors can enjoy "regular snowstorms' as well as visits from Anna and Elsa and Spiderman.
