A farewell event has been held for former players and volunteers of Yelling Cricket Club.
The cricket club succumbed to a lack of players in 2021 and had to fold after being a key team in the Cambs leagues for generations.
The event, held at the Thatched Barn, in Yelling, saw 60 past players, members, helpers and tea ladies come together to reminisce. Entertainment was provided by the Trip Wire band.
John and Vi Tack, Steve Tack and Denise Hall were presented with rose bushes named 'Yelling Cricket Club' for their commitment to the club.
