A team of eight volunteers collected an array of unusual items when they took to the water to clear litter from the River Great Ouse as it runs through St Ives.
On a chilly October morning, they collected five bags of litter from their stretch of the River Great Ouse, alongside several tennis balls, a rusty barbeque, and a small stack of dishes.
Many food wrappers and drink bottles were also found trapped in the reed beds close to road bridges as they waded through the waters with kayaks and canoes.

The Great Ouse Valley Trust arranged the litter pick, and the RiverCare team of volunteers chose to take to the water to collect litter and protect their local waterways so they can continue to be enjoyed by people and wildlife.
A spokesperson for RiverCare said: "A big thank you goes to the staff of Jones Boatyard who very kindly provided kayaks, canoes, a support boat, and buoyancy aids to ensure our volunteers could safely get out on the water."
