Parents and carers of children with special educational needs and disabilities across Cambridgeshire have been given access to support thanks to the annual Pinpoint conference.
Pinpoint is the Parent Carer Forum for the county, and more than 150 parents and carers were in attendance for the eleventh conference of its kind in St Ives on October 3.
The conference was Pinpoint's first in-person conference since the pandemic and helped families access the information and support they need for their children.
Families were also encouraged to give valuable feedback to the Cambridgeshire County Council, health representatives, social care and other service providers.
Pinpoint CEO Sarah Conboy said: "The past few years have been particularly difficult for families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities among those hardest hit by the pandemic.
"Today [October 3] is a wonderful reminder that all those working on the frontline with our children will do their best, regardless.
"Those of us who have children with special needs and disabilities will tell you how hard it is to get all the information you need to help your child.
"Parents and carers regularly tell us at Pinpoint how good it is to realise they are not alone, and days like this, with so much positivity, are a fabulous reminder of that.
"Pinpoint, together with parent carers and professionals, will continue to do all we can to ensure that parent carers are well-supported and their children get the help they need to have every opportunity in life."

At the conference, Pinpoint also helped signpost parents and carers to the services best suited to help them with their child's needs.
Mayor of St Ives, Cllr Phillip Pope, said: "It's an honour to be able to host families from across Cambridgeshire in St Ives and to know that they will be going home knowing how to get help and support for their children. "
