A popular discount retailer is returning to St Neots this weekend. 

Poundstretcher is moving into 53-55 High Street, PE19 1JG, on Saturday September 9.

An official grand opening is due to take place from 10am - and bargain hunters are encouraged to get down early.

To celebrate the opening, there will be a summer sale including half-price on thousands of products.

The store will also include a large pet section under the Pet Hut which has everything for dogs, cats, small pets and wild birds.

The new opening is part of a series of new stores openings across the UK, meaning that the St Neots branch becomes the Poundstretcher group's 144th store.

It is also their 19th store to open this year.

New members of staff (both part and full time) from the local area have been recruited to work at the store.
