Rescue dogs at Woodgreen Pets Charity in Godmanchester can enjoy a special treat following a luxury hamper donation from Notcutts Brampton Garden Centre.
On July 18, the local garden centre team donated a hamper full of doggy toys and treats to be shared with the homeless and vulnerable dogs in Woodgreen’s care.
The pet charity, which is famous for being the filming location for the Channel 4 TV programme The Dog House, rehabilitates and rehomes thousands of dogs, cats and small pets every year, as well as providing expert advice and hands-on support to pets in homes.
Partnerships manager at Woodgreen, Stacey Hamilton, said: “Due to the impact of the cost-of-living crisis, our centre is at full capacity and our resources are being stretched.
“In these challenging times, we are so grateful to everyone who supports our vital work with pets and their people.
“Thanks to Notcutts, we’ve been able to treat our dogs to some extra special goodies while they wait for a loving home to call their own.”
