The Hunts School Sports Partnership (HSSP) have hosted its final inter-primary school competition of the academic year with a Year 5/6 Girls Dynamos Cricket competition.
Around 60 girls from six Huntingdonshire schools attended Ramsey Cricket Club on July 11 for an afternoon of fun and competitive matches.
Huntingdon-based school Ermine Steet Church Academy came out on top in the competition, beating Westfield Junior School from St Ives in the final.
Doug Finlayson, HSSP manager, said: "The Girls Dynamos Cricket competition was a fantastic end to an exciting year of inter-school sports competitions and festivals for Huntingdonshire primary and secondary schools.
"This was the third and final Hunts SSP Dynamos Cricket competition of the summer term, and it has been amazing to see so many children from Huntingdonshire enjoying the sport at local cricket clubs."
Dynamos is a cricket programme for children aged 8-11 that looks to provide them with a more social offer focused on developing fundamental movement skills and applying them in an exciting game of countdown cricket.

The outfield at Ramsey Cricket Club was split into three pitches, allowing all teams to be in action simultaneously.
After three rounds which included "great bowling, committed fielding and some exciting shots", the schools were seeded for a final placing match.
Doug added: "The final round of matches was exciting, with each game closely contested and the third-place playoff schools unable to be separated.
Yesterday we ran our final inter-school primary event of 2022-23.
