Huntingdon-based firm Trime, one of the leading manufacturers of sustainable lighting towers and water-saving wash bays, has been recognised at company excellence awards.
The CSR Excellence Awards took place at London’s St Paul's Cathedral.
Company marketing manager, Emma Cohen and sales manager Mark Taylor attended the event where Trime was honoured with a bronze award for its X-SOLAR and X-WASH under the category of Environmental Endeavour.
The International CSR Excellence Awards are presented to companies who are seen to support colleagues, communities, customers and the environment.
Commenting on the award, Emma said: “Naturally, we are delighted to receive this award. We have always championed the environmental attributes of the X-SOLAR and X-WASH, but to have their qualities formally recognised by this internationally distinguished organisation is very satisfying.
Mark and I accepted the award on behalf of the whole of the Trime teams worldwide.”
The International CSR Excellence Awards are owned and operated by the Green Organisation, an independent, international, non-profit, non-political environment membership group that began in 1994 to recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world.
