Little Paxton will be hosting its annual village fete Paxfest & Fun Dog Show this weekend at the QEII Playing Field.
This year’s event, on July 8, will be opened by the Bedford Pipe Band, followed by musical entertainment from Dewey School of Dance, Clickity Clack Parties, Waterbeach Brass, Porterhouse Jazz 6 and the St Neots Jewels Choir.
Cllr Kathy Bishop, from Little Paxton Parish Council, says: "Paxfest & Fun Dog Show is a wonderful community event with more than 50 stalls, a barbecue, beer tent, refreshments, magic shows and petting farm with a pony."
The event opens at midday and the dog show starts at 1pm. There are 14 dog show classes, including 'dog with the waggiest tail' and 'quickest sausage catcher'.
Registration for the dog show is on the day and is £1.50 per dog per class.
If you are visiting the event from nearby St Neots, you could leave the car at home and hop on the TING Bus which is providing a free service between St Neots and Little Paxton.
