A group of 31 volunteers have come together at Ramsey Neighbourhoods Trust's (RNT) Great Whyte Spring Fair to tackle pollution on an Earth Day litter pick.
The litter pick was arranged by the Ramsey RiverCare group to tackle litter pollution in and around the river at both ends of the town for the Spring Fair and Earth Day on April 22.
Around 26 full bags of litter and assorted car parts were picked up by the gang of committed volunteers along the Bury Brook, which ended at the High Lode River.
The group next plans to litter pick in Ramsey on May 24,
RNT markets and events organiser, Jodie Montgomery, said: "The Spring Fair was very well received by the community, and the litter pick was a huge success.
"The number of people that came out for the litter pick was larger than expected and involved people of all ages."

The Spring Fair was aimed at encouraging more people out into the town, with several local businesses and independent shop stalls out to remind the public what is on offer in Ramsey.
An Eco Market was also held to help celebrate World Earth Day with advice on growing your own food, jam-making, recycling and more.
