More than 700 people in Ramsey came together on Bank Holiday Monday (May 8) to revel in Ramsey Neighbourhoods Trust's (RNT) "wonderful" Coronation Street Party.
The street party was initially scheduled to be held on Great Whyte, but due to the weather forecast, it was moved inside to the drill hall at the 1940s Camp to afford people cover and encourage even more attendees.
Programme manager at RNT, Val Fendley, said: "The numbers that attended exceeded our expectations.
"The street party that we had on Great Whyte for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee had around 300 people, so numbers this time were amazing."

The was something for all ages at the event, from bungee trampolines, crafts for tiny tots, face painting, Molly dancers, party games, live music and more.
Several people took to Facebook following the event to comment how "wonderful" it was, with lots of thank yous directed towards the RNT for "an unforgettable coronation weekend".
Whilst RNT helped coordinate the event, Val said they couldn't have done it without help from the 1940s committee allowing the use of the venue, The Ramsey Rotary Club setting everything up and packing it away, and the funding provided by Ramsey Town Council.
"I think it's just everyone pulling together really that makes it such a success," added Val.
