A fundraising campaign launched to pay for a six-month-old French Bulldog's surgery after she suffered two leg fractures has reached its £3,500 target.
Bella the bulldog broke her hock bone after an accident while playing at home in Godmanchester and needed surgery to pin the broken bone into place.
Bella successfully had her operation on April 28, and thanks to the fundraiser, the Wilson-Tooke family who were in "turmoil" after the incident, were able to cover the costs.
Owner Nik Wilson-Tooke said he was "overwhelmed" by all the donations and support and added that Bella "is getting there", able to start putting her on the ground again.
Deb Westley, from Ely, who set up the fundraiser and is the owner of Bella's mum, said on Facebook: "We met the target, and I am so so thrilled. You guys are incredible.
"She has to go back again for some more xrays and make sure everything is healing and that the medication is working. She is on antibiotics and pain relief and having to be redressed too.
"The money that keeps piling up has been insane."
The fundraising campaign was set up to help the Wilson-Tooke family after their insurance application had become void following a "miscommunication", leaving Bella uncovered.

The family said on their fundraising page: "We would be so grateful for any help and support, and we truly just want our baby back on the mend and in good health, it's heartbreaking watching her in pain."
The fundraiser is currently on £3,650, and although the fundraiser has met its target, the family have decided to keep the page open due to the added expenses from the future xrays required.
Around 68 people have donated to the cause, including a substantial "heartwarming" donation of £1,790 from a generous supporter.
Nik added that once Bella has healed, they intend to meet the individual to thank them for the "huge" amount.
