There was a fantastic turn-out for this year's traditional May Day celebrations in Eaton Socon on Bank Holiday Monday.
Despite a couple of downpours, the choir sang, the dancers danced and the May Queen and her princesses were crowned.
This year's May Queen was Emmie Durrant, aged 10, and her Princesses were Lucy Davies, aged 10 and Alannah Montieth, aged nine. Emmie recieved her crown from the out-going May Queen Chloe Veneear who held the title for three years.
The event is organised by ESCA who's chairman Julia Hayward said the event was "fantatic" and numbers were now almost back to pre-covid levels.
"We some new stall holders this year and some of the entertaiment was new also, plenty of familiar names but also some who were here for the first time, which was great.
"It is a lot of hard work to make May Day happen and we are a small committee, and would love some new people to come forward and help out."
The event included the Bushmead School Choir, the SJ School of Dance and the St Neots U3A.
