Over the next few months we will be featuring photographs from The Hunts Post archives.
We hope they bring back some happy memories from some of the many events we have covered over the years.
The photos will also form part of a collection which will be on display at our Huntingdon office and it can be taken along to events for members of the public to enjoy.
In last week's paper we featured John Parbery who was pictured with his first-prize cup at the Eynesbury and District Flower Show on September 13, 1984.
John's family got in touch to say they were delighted to see him featured in the newspaper.
His son Steve says John won many trophies for his garden produce over the years and his main passion was chrysanths and dahlias.
"He use to spend hours dressing each bloom to show, turning each petal the right way with an artists brush.
"He is now 89 and still as passionate, he still hand digs his allotment every year, the only way to do it properly he says."
