Those who are struggling with cost of living pressures are being encouraged to attend a free drop-in event in Huntingdonshire.
Several organisations and charities will be at the event in Huntingdon Library on January 18, where residents can access information and advice on dealing with their concerns this winter.
The event, organised by Cambridgeshire Libraries in partnership with Think Communities, is thought to be the first of its kind to be held at one of the district’s libraries.
Julie Kisby, district library manager for Huntingdonshire, said: “It’s about bringing organisations together so people can find out information about cost of living and different sources of support.”
Some of the organisations attending include Huntingdonshire District Council’s warm spaces team, Cambridgeshire County Council’s Household Support Fund team, Scam Awareness, Godmanchester Foodbank, Anglian Water and the Citizens Advice Bureau.
The event will take place from 12-4.30pm - for more information, email: Julie.Kisby@cambridgeshire.gov.uk.
