Dreamdrops Children's Charity has hosted its annual Bill Boles Adventure Day at Hamerton Zoo in Huntingdon, giving children a fun day out.
The adventure day is specially designed for siblings of children with additional needs, as they often miss out on things because their brother or sister is unwell.
Seven families, of which there were 17 children, all enjoyed an exciting day which involved a big picnic lunch and a little memento gifted at the end of the day.
Anne-Marie Hamilton, the previous Dreamdrops chairman, said: “We all had a wonderful time.
"Hamerton Zoo was the perfect venue, and it was fun to watch not only the children enjoying their visit, but their parents too.
"Each family was supported by having a committee member on hand to help if needed, and the committee members thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to spend time with the families, too.”
Dreamdrops named it the Bill Boles Adventure Day after his death in his honour, recognising the significant donation he provided the charity.
Cambridgeshire Community Services (CCS) NHS Trust’s staff and some of their family members also helped out on the day.
