Members of Ramsey golf and bowls clubs have been appealing and collecting donations to send to the Ukrainian people.
Within two days of the appeal, the two snooker rooms and bar at the club were full to the brim of generous donations.
Ramsey club press officer Barry McCormick said: "The club were astounded with the generosity of the people of Ramsey and surrounding areas, who flooded the club with food, clothes, toys, medicine and everything in-between."
Club member Mark Coverdale, chairman Richard Coles, and other drivers set off for the Ukraine border with their vans piled high with the much-needed supplies.
Such was the magnitude of donations given to them, the club suspended collections on March 7 and passed on any surplus donations to others travelling to Ukraine.
Club member Alison McCormick also collected a vast amount of supplies from Bury residents and Ramsey Rotary Club, and these were transported to St Olga Church, in Peterborough.
Ramsey Bowls Club extended their thanks to everyone for their help and donations.
