WENDY SILBY Slipped peacefully from this world into the next on 16th January at the age of 87. A service to celebrate her vibrant life will be held at St. Andrew's Church, Kimbolton at 11am on Friday 17th March. Cheerful attire preferred. No flowers. Any donations on the day will go to support the work of local charity The Kimbolton Trust.

I met Wendy 53 years ago. She was my tutor and mentor at College.. It is thanks to her I became a teacher and her inspiration remained with me throughout my long career. I shall for ever be grateful to Wendy for her guidance, her friendship, and her stubborn confidence in my abilities. Thank you!
