Local headmaster, wartime Special Operations Executive (SOE) operative and 2012 Olympic Torch bearer, Reg passed away peacefully at his home in Popes Lane, Warboys on Sunday 28th June 2020, aged 99 years, after a long and full life. Much loved father of John, David, Peter and Helena and grandfather of Jamie, Hannah, Jack, Max, Millie, Zoé, William, Frankie, Alex, Chloe and Oliver. He will be missed by his family and by the local community. A small covid-19 restricted family funeral service will be held at Cambridge crematorium on Thursday 9th July at 1pm. A larger memorial service will be held at a later date.
