passed away peacefully at home in Buckden during the night of 7th August aged 100. He remained active and independent right to the end - spending much of his last day enjoying the sun and playing board-games with a glass of beer in his hand. The dearly beloved husband of Grace, loving father of Pam and Steve, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, he will be sadly missed by family, friends and neighbours. His long, happy and fulfilling life will be celebrated at Bedford Crematorium on 27th August but unfortunately due to Covid 19 only immediate family will be able to attend. The family would however welcome donations to Cancer Research UK in the hope that others will not have to suffer as he did when his beloved wife and his lovely daughter succumbed to this dreadful disease.
