In loving memory of DEREK VERNON SMITH Sadly passed away at home surrounded by his family on 25th February 2021 aged 84. Devoted husband of 61 years to Mary, much loved dad to Sue and Gary, father in law to Sue and Steve, beloved grandad to Kirstie, Hannah, Jack and Laura, doting great grandad to Kaitlin and a friend to many. Due to current restrictions there will be a small funeral service (by invitation only) to be held at the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Alconbury Weston followed by a private cremation at Peterborough Crematorium. A celebration of Dereks life for extended family and friends will be held later in the year. Family flowers only please but if desired donations may be made to Papworth Hospital Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group.
