SYLVIA EWENS Passed away peacefully on 25th May, aged 91 years. Having lived in Old Market Court for the last 10 years she spent her last few months in the excellent care of the Old Vicarage Care Home, St Neots. Beloved wife of the late Ray, much loved mother of Anne and Andy as well as her two deceased children Tony and Sue, devoted nanny to Claire, Karen, Joanna, Sam, Joe, Alex and Jono. A private funeral, by invitation only, will be held at Cambridge Crematorium. Sylvia ashes will be interred in due course alongside Ray and their youngest child Sue in Bitteswell Cemetery, Leicestershire. Sylvia asked that, in lieu of flowers at the funeral, donations in her memory should be made to Macmillan Cancer Support and can be sent to Kingfisher Independent Funeral Services, Gate Lodge, Cemetery Road, St Neots PE19 2BX.
